Child's Placket-Neck Pullover
The long weekend was filled with gardening (don't click unless you want to see a pea plant) and birthdays (and a Cam eating cake picture), but I still had time to finish the pullover - and before my June 1 Dulaan timeline too! It helps that there is virtually no "finishing" to this sweater once it is off the needles.
Pattern: Child's Placket-Neck Pullover from Last Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Halverson
Size: 26"chest (size 4-6) *see below
Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes - Cherry Blossom (4 skeins + 2 yards)
Needles: Denise circular US 7 (4.5 mm)
If you knit this pattern be sure to check the errata page!
The neck edging and placket edging are knit right in (no pick up and knit) - no buttonholes (just push the little bead through the seed stitch) - graft 8 underarm stitches together and DONE!
*I used the horizontal directions for the 3rd size up and because my gauge was 4.5/inch instead of 5/inch, the vertical directions for the 5th size up making it a perfect size 4-6.
This is a simple, quick and adorable sweater - I wanted it to brighten up a little child's life and I think "Cherry Blossom" did the job!
