Kyla, Lenore and Starting Mystery Socks

Kyla Mitts
Pattern: Kyla by Monika Steinbauer (free PDF download on her sidebar)
Yarn:Cherry Tree Hill Supersock in "Wild Cherry" left over from these socks....and I STILL had 22 gms left - the never ending skein of yarn!
Needles: 2 mitts on 1 40" 2.25mm circular needles.
Modifications: Increased thumb gusset length and hand length to fit my hands.
My ONLY regret in making these beautifully designed mitts is that I didn't use a solid yarn. It is difficult to see the pretty design through the mottled colors (although in real life the pattern shows up better than in the pictures).I am wearing my Kyla mittens right this minute as I type up this blog post in my freezing cold office! Thank you for a fun pattern, Monika!
One more picture....off of hands. (These socks are not pink - they are red!
Kyla Fingerless Mittens

I'm sure you've already seen many pictures of this sock....It is the current Rockin' Sock Club kit...."Lenore" by Stephanie Pearl McPhee...I love everything about this pair of socks...the yarn is deep, dark and beautiful, the pattern is wonderful - both easy to knit (2 row repeat) and pretty too....my current take along socks.

Lenore

Is anyone else making Mona Strickt's November Mystery socks??? This is one of the options for November Sockdown on Ravelry's Sock Knitters Anonymous Group, but it is also available on her blog. I have a tiny bit of the cuff done. Lovin' it so far!
