On the Road Knitting

My plan is to finish Vilai. I've started the gusset, so it shouldn't be too difficult to get them done with the abundant car knitting time. Here are the 2 different views...I think they are awfully pretty

I started another easy vacation knitting project in Artful Yarns Serenade a soft and beautiful pima cotton/angora yarn - I just keep touching and putting it up to my face - so so soft! The pattern is "Pink" from Custom Knits by Wendy Bernard - it is a top-down raglan v-neck pullover with 3/4 sleeves - something I can see myself wearing on spring days and summer evenings.
So - these projects, in addition to 4 rows a day on my shawl (I haven't missed a day yet) and Dave's socks for backup should do it! I don't even think I'll need to take an extra skein of sock yarn....or...maybe I will - just in case :-)

When stepping out the door to take Cam to school this morning, this is the 1st thing I saw - I ran back in to get the camera - spring is here!
