Gorgeous Fat Cat Knits Falkland Wool in Cantaloupe and Quackenbush (I think I'd love a whole sweater in Quackenbush!)
106 grams of fiber spun into 461 yards of 3 ply fingering weight yarn - my best handspun sock yarn so far :)
Not the normal Swedish stranded knitting colors, but I love them!
Pattern: Nordic Inspiration by Stephanie Van Der Linden
I love the motifs on the tops and the bottoms of these socks - and the little picot cuff makes them even more special!
Her method of short row heels is awesome. She uses slipped yarn overs - no wrapping and no holes - genius!
I have a bit of the sock bug for the 1st time in a year or two - sock patterns are starting to intrigue me again ... may even do some of the SKA challenges this year - maybe...
