Handspun Houndstooth Woven Scarf
Started with this gorgeous braid of All Spun Up Merino Tencel - such soft fiber with a beautiful sheen! After staring at it for a long time, I decided to split the fiber into blues and yellow/green and spin them separately.
Love these bobbins - such pretty shiny singles!
Decided to experiment with a houndstooth pattern even though there is not quite enough contrast for the pattern to show up well - I quickly realized that I really like the muted pattern - now you see it/now you don't :)
Pattern: Houndstooth (alternate 2 ends and 2 picks each color)
Yarn: All Spun Up 50/50 Merino Tencel in Lily Pond colorway. Used 84 grams (161 yards) 3 ply fingering. (Sadly, Kristin is not dyeing anymore, but I have a few ASU braids left in my stash thank goodness!

Such a pretty soft, light, spring scarf - the drape is to die for!
